Unfucking The World

Solutions for a System Worth Believing In

Unfucking The World (UTW) is a nonpartisan platform that unites Americans to believe in a stronger, more responsive democracy. We make complex issues accessible, encourage civic engagement, and provide practical paths to reform that strengthen accountability and trust in democratic institutions.

The Founding of UTW

On December 6, 2025, UTW Founder Danielle Church drafted the first version of the No Confidence Amendment, as part of a hypothetical exploration of what kind of effort it would take to steer our country’s political system onto a new course. There was no hope that it could ever be ratified, of course, owing to the sharply divided American electorate.

On January 3, 2026, United States President Donald Trump ordered military strikes that captured the leader of a foreign sovereign country, an act that violated both the US Constitution and international law. He demonstrated that he does not consider himself bound by the Constitution, creating an unprecedented unity of opinion amongst that same electorate.

A few meetings with legislators at the state and national level were all it took to reveal that their hands are tied. No matter how much the core ideas of No Confidence might resonate with them personally, there was no way for them to push it through; even attempting to do so could backfire, harming both them and their constituents.

The only people who have the freedom of action to drive No Confidence through to ratification are the citizens of the United States of America. The only way to reach enough citizens, fast enough to do any good, is over the Internet.

On April 6, 2026, Danielle registered the domain name unfuckingtheworld.org.

What UTW Was Founded For

Our Vision Statement

Our dream is of a world in which our governments aren’t incentivized to barter away our future. There are many problems humanity has not solved yet, and which will take years, decades, centuries, even millennia to resolve, if we ever do.

We can’t resolve any of those problems while our society crumbles out from beneath us.

Unfucking The World does not dream of utopia. We do not envision global harmony, an end to world hunger, or a fix for any of the many environmental crises. Our goal is to provide the many individuals and groups already tackling these issues with a new paradigm for effective action, one in which the debate is focused on solutions rather than party affiliation. We dream of an America that hears the voice of all her people, not just the most privileged.

The work of UTW is done when we have a stable government accountable to the people, a healthy economy that allows every person to gain wealth if they work for it, and a set of enforceable and enforced rules that protect all individuals from the abuses of those people and organizations with money and power.

After that, it’s your turn.

UTW's Core Values

Our Values

The work of UTW rests upon three pillars:
Create Hope, Educate, and Mobilize.

Mobilize

Create Hope

The twenty-first century has been characterized by increasing despair. A mental health crisis is sweeping the world, for the very simple reason that life keeps getting harder, for all of us. The decline of our society is so prominent in people’s minds that it has spawned its own neurotic obsession: doomscrolling.

Unfucking The World exists to give people another option, besides reading the news with horror or avoiding it to maintain their sanity. We want to show that, yes, there are terrible things happening in the world, but we can confront them on our terms, rather than the ones presented to us all our lives. There is reason to hope for a brighter future, not despite but because of how bad things are now.

Educate

History is written by those in power. In 2026, so is the news. The dominant narrative is an almost Orwellian “this is the way things have always been,” which is both untrue and misleading to the extreme. In United States politics, there was a time when the Democrats were the party of blue-collar laborers and the Republicans were the party of small business owners. In the tech sector, Google once famously held the motto, “Don’t be evil,” which it later even more infamously abandoned. In grocery stores, product marketing will claim that you get “33% more for the same value”, while actually putting 25% less into the box.

Unfucking The World aims to show people what parts of our seemingly-unchanging world aren’t as immutable as they look. We provide context for the world of today by pulling examples from history, and from other disciplines, and from other nations. We use that context to illustrate the root causes of the problems we face today, so that we can focus our efforts where they will have the greatest impact.

Mobilize

Over the past years and decades, Americans have grown increasingly dissatisfied with the shape of our government. Every election seems to end in disappointment to all sides, politicians aren’t held accountable for what they say and do, and the voices of individual Americans are being drowned out by the voices of large conglomerates. The anger of the citizenry grows with every abuse Trump heaps upon the American people, and if we do nothing, it will reach a breaking point and destroy us from within.

Unfucking The World works to avert the danger of civil unrest by giving that anger a non-violent, but nonetheless extremely powerful, outlet. We show that there is a way to make these angry voices heard, so long as we all stand together, so long as we do not fall into the trap of partisanship. We create strategies that are not bound by the timetables of politicians, so that movements aren’t forced to lose momentum and wait on elections. We remind the government that it exists to serve the citizenry, not the other way around. When we demand to be heard, we will be heard, whether they want to listen or not.

Our Responsibility to the World

Responsibility

Unfucking The World is the hope in the dark. When the last opportunity for redress has been taken from the people, our duty is to illuminate the paths that can still be taken, even if we have to pave them first. Where tyranny closes a door, we will always be there to open a window.

This is our promise: before we stand up and declare that the people must act, we will first search every possibility to find the solution that offers our strongest opportunity for success, while risking the least harm. We are the final guardrail before the cliff, and we will redirect our society back towards safety no matter how hard we have to push. That is what it means to unfuck the world.
